Currently Bishop George is the Leader of the church leaders forum called mafubira leaders fellowship , a Joint ministry co-ordination of about 60 churches in Jinja district and 165 churches in remote villages under his pastoral care. Like the Bible Says “how pleasant it is when brethren dwell in unity,” As a leader of this huge , unity fellowship , Pastor George has Identified these major problems;

• Pastors, elders , deacons lack training in teaching the word, many from villages didn’t go to school. We want to start up a mobile bible school soon to train the church leaders.

• Poverty. Church leaders/ pastors are so poor , yet they preach a rich God. We embarked on training them in Income generating activities like starting small businesses, and engaging in sustainable agriculture So they can feed their families and be an example to the congregation.

• Many of the churches due to the high poverty, the structures are in poor state, mud and wattle , many with No proper roof, when it ever rains that is the end of sermon!

 

We have been doing door to door Evangelism in different places villages and towns here in Uganda  and open air staged crusades each year, many have come to the Lord. Next year coming in January Bishop George together will host a massive “Miracle Crusade,” in Jinja. We are believing God to do mighty things in January, God will save and heal many.
