In Sub sahara africa children under 5 die because their bodies cannot hold and fight off a disease due of lack of a certain food value, Say for instance kwashikor and marasmus. Yes its real that in this age and time there is a family some where which acannot feed it self , and so they wont be able to find the fruits , vegatables , proteins name it for a day!. So the little ones are there fore malnourished.
We have been feeding children from poor neighbor hoods around jinja for two decades now. Our meals are well thought, we follow recommendations from government and other dieticians. A full cup of Soya Poradge will have a mixed up ingrediants/suppliments (purely organic) which are basic for children as recommented, proteins, fats, carbohydrates , calcium , iron e.t.c in one cup. These meals packages are expensive to buy , you cannot imagine meal packages for 400 children!. So we are embarking on packaging our locally grown stuff from here, to be tested by proffesionl dieticians, this will reduce costs by a big percentage. We are also sensitizing communities common food stuff that they never pay attention to, like avocado, mashrooms and more readily available food stuff.
The Lord called Bishop George to ministry at age , 15 a young man still growing in the word , 2 years after he recieved Christ as his Lord, he was commissioned 10 years Later, equipped to Go.
At the age of 22 with the help of a friend in the U.SA, he Joined Nairobi pentecostal bible school for a degree in Theology.
Later attaining a masters from Oklahoma theology college in the U.S.A.
He started ministering after in community halls, preaching on the streets where one time in 1973 during Idi Amin Ddada rule , he was beaten up by his ruthless soldiers, then Christians were not fevored and had no freedom to worship!.
He speaks several dilects , because he has been around the areas of Uganda , Rwandese, lunyankole, itesot , lusoga, luganda , kishwahili, English among others, whwich is advantage to communicate the Gospel to differerent tribes.
He got married on 22nd September 1982 to Late wife Winfred kasharu with whom they have now grown up 7 children, two girls and five boys , Stephen, Grace, Betty, Peterson, Nathan, Joshua and Jos11eph. Blessed with 7 grand children
He Started a ministry with wife Winfred as purposed by the Lord in mafubira valley in 1985, started off hopless, a small mudy and water grass thatched temporally building which they were renting, a five member church then , it was him, (Pr.George) his wife , and three people who joined them, a two peoples’ service some sundays , it was Pastor George and wife.
After the death of beloved wife in Feb 2012, 30 years of marriage , Pastor George sought to find a helper, for the bible says “its not good for a man to be alone, I will make him a helper that suits him,” he married Meble Kasharu in June 2014.
